A statement issued by its Director, Dr. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu, disclosed that the 50th-anniversary programme which begins on October 31 will last for a week and chaired by former Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo (GCON).
He stated that having reached 50 years of existence, “This year is a special one and will be big, elaborate and unique with the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, and Dr. Kayode Fayemi to deliver a lecture.”
He added that an exhibition will be held on the life and times of the late Sardauna of Sokoto.
“There is also an award presentation to be given to eminent personalities that played and continue to play important roles in the development and growth of Arewa House in the last five decades,” he said.
