The governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani has welcomed the appointment of Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa as Chief of Defence Staff by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The governor, in a statement he personally signed, said the appointment of an illustrious son of the state was “well-deserved.”
He described the new Chief of Defence Staff as a worthy ambassador of Kaduna State who had had a distinguished military career and held many strategic positions, including Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai.
He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding a son of the state a worthy of this important national assignment.

Similarly, Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the appointments of two illustrious citizens of the state, Mr Dele Alake as Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy and Hon Ibrahim Olanrewaju, as Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).
