APPEALS project coordinator, Ozomata, gets award

 

Members of the Federal College of Education (FCE) Okene integrated cluster of the APPEALS (Agro-Processing Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood improvement Support) project have presented an award of recognition to the State Coordinator, Dr Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata.

Provost of the college, Dr Umar Hassan, at the award ceremony expressed his delight and described the cluster’s presence within the institution as a blessing.

He acknowledged the positive impact the cluster has had on the college, pointing out that it had played a significant role in raising the institution’s score during accreditation.

The provost highlighted the sustainability and strength of the project, suggesting that the APPEALS Project should continue to support and strengthen the cluster.

Hassan further commended Ozomata for his dedication to improving the livelihood of people, while expressing his hope that this role would be a stepping stone for greater leadership opportunities in the future.

The Chairman of the Cluster group, Mal. Ehuse Eneye Adam, described Ozomata as an exceptional leader who is recognised for his contributions to the APPEALS Project.

APPEALS project is a World Bank funded project through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Kogi State is one of the six (6) states implementing the project in Nigeria.
