APGA urges Nigerians to keep hope alive

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has urged Nigerians to keep hope alive on the occasion of the nation’s 62nd independence anniversary.

This was contained in a statement on Sunday issued in Abuja by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Barrister Tex Okechukwu.

The party expressed hope that the future held great promises for Nigerians despite the “harsh economic conditions” facing them and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct credible polls in 2023.

The party also urged Nigerians to rise up to the challenges facing the nation by taking their destiny into their hands by ensuring that they participated conscientiously in every activity lined up towards the 2023 elections.

The statement reads in part: “APGA believes that the future of Nigeria is in the hands of the people. So, they should rise up from their slumber and engage in the electoral process to bring about the desired leadership that will take our country to its deserved position in the comity of nations.”

The party urged the federal government to draw up policies that would “alleviate the suffering of the citizens” and make life better for them.
