In a consensus decision, all the aspirants for the 31 elective positions were returned unopposed.

In his acceptance speech, Ezeokenwa noted that he saw his emergence as a task to take the party to the next level.

In his remarks, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State said the party had demonstrated a peaceful transfer of power, giving the indication that the future was in APGA.

Meanwhile, a former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano; Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu; Frank Nweke Jr; Prof Gregory Ibe; among others, emerged members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party.
