APGA chairman under fire over threat to expel Ojukwu’s wife

Former governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Uche Onyeagucha, has berated the National Chairman of APGA, Victor Oye, over threat to expel widow of late Biafran warlord, Odimegwu Ojukwu, Dame Bianca Ojukwu, from the party.

Onyeagucha, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Macdonald Enwerem, described the threat as embarrassing, especially coming from the National Chairman whom he accused of being instrumental to most of the crisis in the party.

Onyeagucha said, “To us, it is embarrassing that Victor Oye, after his undertakings in the party still have the effrontery to shamelessly open his disgusting mouth so wide to issue a suspension threat on Mrs Bianca Ojukwu .

He added, “We thought that there is still a modicum of honour left with Sir Victor Oye but we never knew that his garment of honour has torn into shreds. He has really shown that he has lost his sense of objectivity and discernment we sincerely pity him for exposing his mental dysfunctionalism,” Onyeagucha said.

Onyeagucha, speaking on the crisis arising from the primary election of the party , said, “No sane person can contemplate of suspending anybody from the party because APGA under Victor Oye is no more worthy of any body’s membership.

He challenged Oye to rather suspend him from the party if he has such courage, saying, “Instead of engaging in such an infantile threat, we expected Sir Victor Oye to be man enough and muster courage to issue a suspension threat on the likes of Hon Uche Onyeagucha.

“The truth is that If there is anyone that should be expelled from the party it should be undertakers like Sir Victor”
