APGA candidate votes, raises alarm on vote buying in Benue

The governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Benue state, John Aondohemba Tseayo, has said he is confident of winning the poll.

Tseayo voted at 9:29am on Saturday at the LGEA Primary School, Ukegbenga Polling Unit (Code 006).

He commended INEC for the conduct of the poll saying, “their officials were on time and they are orderly, the card reader seems to be working perfectly. The voters have conducted themselves in appropriate manner.”

He worried that, “there are evidence of lots of votes buying by agents of the APC and PDP here. But outside that, the election has been relatively peaceful.”

Tseayo added there was no element of breach of security so far as the exercise was concerned in his locality.

He further assured, “I am confident that be it this night, tomorrow or Monday, once the result of the election is declared, I will win the election and I am fully ready and gearing to serve the people of Benue state.”
