Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina state has rejected the results declared by INEC describing it as “concocted figures”
The party’s deputy governorship candidate, Salisu Majigiri, said the figures as rolled out are not true reflection of what transpired at the polls.
According to him, despite the low turnout of voters witnessed across the state, INEC results as declared is having figures that reflected a large turnout adding that several electoral processes were violated.
“In Zango, the Army were used to disrupt the process; in Kaita results were declared at local government as against polling units and wards, while in Charanchi (Maja ward), it is something else,” he added.
He said the party shall take all constitutional measures necessary to address the situation.
