The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Afolabi Tunde, and one other member of the party simply identified as Sabitu were crushed by a cement truck at Caretaker bus stop in Ogbomoso.
Our correspondent gathered that Tunde, who was a delegate from the state in the just concluded convention of the party in Abuja, recently celebrated his 49th birthday.

A witness said they were crushed on a motorcycle while returning home from an outing.
Our correspondent further learnt that Tunde died on the spot while Sabitu died in the hospital.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) sector commander in Oyo State, Uche Chukwurah, said, “One of them died on the spot while the other one died at the hospital.
“We will continue to educate road users on the need to drive carefully.”
