The All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa State Chapter, says it will send the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of Adamawa, come 2023.
A member of the national caretaker committee of the party, Professor Tahir Mamman, stated this during a final reunion between the ADC leadership which merged with APC in the state.
The merger, which was sealed in December 2020, was to strengthen the capacity and base of the APC ahead of 2023.
Tahir added that they are celebrating the return of PDP supporters across the state to their party.
Senator Abdulazeez Murtala Nyako, who led his party supporters, reiterated that his defection was, “homecoming” as he was among the founders of the party.
He urged the stakeholders to take advantage of the reunion in producing credible candidates to contest in the 2023 election.
