The Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has urged all the aspirants who contested the last governorship primaries of the party in Ekiti state to accept the result in good faith and support the winner, Kayode Fayemi to win the July 14 election.

The party described the outcome  of the primary election as democracy in action urging members and aspirants to see the outcome of the primary  as a collective victory for the party and the people of the state that are desirous of a change of government for the betterment of the state.

In a statement by the Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, on Sunday, the party congratulated Fayemi, co-contestants and the Primary Election committee for the success of the event.

The statement said, “The party appreciate Governor Almakura-led committee, the security agencies and the party officials that made the election peaceful, transparent, rancour free and successful."

Olatubosun  appealed  to all party  members and chieftains to be more united than ever for the party to coast home victory in the forthcoming governorship.
