The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has faulted claims of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that it was instrumental to the judgement of the tribunal that nullified the election of a lawmaker, Musa Agah.
The election of Agah, who represents Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was nullified by the tribunal over voting in some polling units.
The APC is reacting to the PDP’s press statement on Tuesday, in which it alleged that it has a hand in the judgement against the lawmaker.
A statement signed by the APC’s State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Sylvanus Namang, said the allegation was baseless and should be discarded.
“This is as laughable as it can only come from a gang of daydreamers. No form of allegation can save the PDP in the state which is very unfortunate as the APC has always wished it survived to serve as a credible opposition.
“All attempts to de-market and stereotype the APC in Plateau State will equally collapse as we shall embark on issue-based campaign,” he said.
