The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all 21 council seats in the Kebbi State Local Government elections held on Saturday.
The Chairman of Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC), Aliyu Mohammed Mera, confirmed the outcome at a press briefing in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.
“The APC won all the chairmanship and councillorship seats based on the results collated from the 21 local government areas where the elections were conducted,” Mera stated.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) did not participate in the election, citing allegations that KESIEC officials were affiliated with the APC.
