The All Progressives Congress (APC) has swept all the 44 local government chairmanship and 484 councilorship seats in Kano State.
The state Independence Electoral Commission announced this on Sunday evening.

Announcing the result Sunday evening, the KANSIEC chairman, Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka, said even though minor errors were encountered during the election process, he explained that the poll was largely successfully.
Sheka applauded the state government for not interfering in the electoral process.
Daily Trust reports that governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State had predicted that APC will win election in all the 44 local governments of the state, as well as the 484 wards judging by the turn out he saw at his polling unit in Ganduje village.
