The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended its 2019 governorship candidate in Enugu State, Senator Ayogu Eze indefinitely.
A letter addressed to the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, by the Senator’s Ozzi Ward 7 executives of the party said he was suspended over alleged anti-party activities and disobedience to the party’s constitution.

The executive members who signed the letter are: Nwokedi Ugwoke (Chairman), Ejike Odo (Vice Chairman), Jonathan Abugu (Secretary), Ugwuja Titus (Legal Adviser), Mrs. Nnedinso Attah (Women Leader), Okwudili Ugwoke (Youth Leader), Peter Abugu (Disabled Leader), Okwudili Ali, (Welfare Secretary) and 12 others.
Contacted, Eze who represented Enugu North in the National Assembly said the state Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party, Dr Ben Nwoye was in a better position to speak on the matter.
