The Katsina State Director General of the presidential and governorship campaign councils of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, has asked the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to apologise to Nigerians in the course of their campaigns for allegedly causing hardship in the land.
Dr Inuwa spoke Sunday during the inauguration of the PDP Campaign Council held at the state secretariat of the party in Katsina.
He said, “We are grateful to Almighty Allah who granted us the opportunity to inaugurate this genuine campaign council. I said genuine campaign council because the other council can only be an apology council. I think that is what they should be doing; apologise to Nigerians and return home to wait for what the future will hold.
“But as for us, we have the courage to go to all the nooks and crannies, house to house, to talk to the people who are eager, waiting for PDP to come.”

Dr Inuwa said campaigning for the APC for the 2023 elections was like advertising cigarettes in which the advertiser must warn that cigarettes caused lung cancer which killed.
Earlier in his address during the inauguration, the PDP governorship candidate in Katsina State, Senator Yakubu Lado, expressed confidence that the party would defeat the ruling APC in all elective positions in the 2023 elections.
