APC set to receive Umana tomorrow

The party in a statement issued by its chairman, Dr. Amadu Atai, said a cross-over rally to formally receive Umana and other PDP leaders in the state into the APC will hold in Uyo, tomorrow.
The event was initially slated for today but was shifted to allow party leaders attend the inauguration of the Osun State governor, today.
Those expected at the rally include Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC  National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, all APC governors, members of the national working committee of the party, Speaker of the House of Representatives, all presidential candidates of the party, and rank and file of party membership across the country.
Umana  said he would dump PDP following his exclusion from the party’s gubernatorial primary election  in Akwa Ibom State on the ground that he is from Uyo Senatorial District.
“We are glad to welcome Umana and his teeming supporters into the APC family in Akwa Ibom State,” the chairman stated.
