APC raises campaign council for Ondo governorship poll

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted a 104-member campaign council for the October 10 governorship election in Ondo State.

The committee is to be chaired by Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos State with Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong, as deputy chairman.

The APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, said in a statement Tuesday night that the campaign council would be inaugurated on Saturday, in Abuja, by Chairman of the APC National Caretaker Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is flying the party’s flag in the election in a bid to win a second term.
