The All Progressives Congress, APC yesterday, produced two governorship candidates in parallel primaries conducted in different locations in Port Harcourt.
In a parallel primaries conducted by the two factions of the party led by Flag Amachree and Peter Odike respectively, Arch. Tonye Cole pulled 3,329 votes to emege winner while Abe pulled 144,292 votes to emerge winner at the other end as well.
Both factions adopted different mode of primaries to pick their flag bearers.
In an indirect primary conducted by Amachree – led APC, Cole pulled a total number of 3329 to clinch the governorship ticket .
The Head of the Rivers APC governorship Primaries committee, Col. Jafa Lawal Issa, (rtd), had called on the delegates to be of good behaviour as to have a peaceful process.
