Halilu has commended Gundiri for the sacrifice for the general interest of the people of Adamawa above his personal interest and assured workers that money meant for their salaries are kept by the governor in his personal custody will surely be recovered if elected into office come 2019.

” I know where the money belonging to Adamawa state is kept by the governor,my advise to him is that he should not touch the money, because he is going to return it without one naira missing,it is public funds nobody can convert our state into a private estate of a family business,” he said.

” The failure of the present government in Adamawa state is the main reason that compelled me to join the governorship race. I know that the party need a more vibrant and acceptable candidate to retain the state,” he stated.

” The present government is anti-indigenous contractors, I challenge anyone in government to mention one indigenous company that has been awarded contract under this administration. The workers in state have been reduce to beggars ,because their constitutional entitlement are not payed to them,as a youth it pains me because majority of the workers are youths,” he said.

Babachir Lawal said Gundiri’s step down is like an opening of an exist door for Bindow

And called for the mobilization of all APC members to vote out Bindow
