APC primaries: Badaru’s opponent rejects result, calls for another rerun

An opponent to Jigawa state governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar in the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election, Pharm Ubale Hashim, rejected the outcome of the election, citing illagality in the conduct of the exercise.

Hashim, rejected the result of the election yesterday while brieffing newsmen in Dutse saying, the exercise was a charade and that called for its concellation.

He said a complained to that effect had since been forwarded to the national headquarters of his party and that awaiting response.

“The local organizing committee thst conducted the election was headed by Badaru’s commissioner and the rest of other members, are also employee of the state government. You can’t expect fairness under such situation.”
