APC presidential primaries: Bayelsa adopts Option A4

The returning officer for Friday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary in Bayelsa state, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, says the party leaders in the state have adopted an option A4 election pattern.

Option A4 is a model where registered members of the party will cue behind the aspirant of their choice to choose the party’s flagbearer.

Lokpobiri, a minister of state for Agriculture, told APC leaders and supporters at the party secretariat in Yenagoa today that there will be no distribution of materials, since they only need to cue behind the aspirants of their choice.
