Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has said imposition of candidates in this Saturday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) local government congresses in the state will not be tolerated.
Abiodun gave the warning yesterday during a meeting with the stakeholders of the party in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, in preparation for the poll.

The warning is sequel to the Saturday, July 31, 2021 ward congress of the party characterised by parallel elections.
Two sitting senators from the state had filed petitions against the ward congress before the five-man Appeal Panel set up by the national body of the party to resolve all issues surrounding the congress.
But Abiodun assured members of the party of a level-playing ground in the forthcoming LG congress, adding that troublemakers would not be tolerated.
The governor who is also the leader of the party in the state urged members to jettison their self interest and work for the success of the party.
“We should continue to be all inclusive. We must involve people who have joined us, as they intend to actualise their aspirations,” the governor said.
