Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated Alhaji Kamilu Abdullahi Maigamji as Northern Nigeria Director-General of Tinubu vanguard, a platform formed for the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming general elections.
Receiving the appointment letter during a grand ceremony held in Kano, Maigamji stated that he would do his best in accordance with the party’s rules and regulations.

“We have taken the oath of office and I want to tell you that , the emergence of Bola Tinubu as our presidential candidate has been a blessing to all Nigerians. He is a seasoned businessman, administrator, a renown economist and a viable achiever. We will do our best to ensure that we consolidate the victory of our party nation wide,” he said.
Present during the event were representative of APC’s vice presidential candidate, representative of Jigawa state governor and that of Katsina.
Similarly, Malama Maryam Muhammed Gusau also emerged as North/West coordinator of the vanguard while Halimatu B. Umar was inaugurated as the national women leader of the Vanguard.
