Senator  Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has said  APC has good plans for Nigeria’s youths.

Senator Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, stated this when a coalition of Sokoto State Students Associations paid him a solidarity visit in Sokoto.

The coalition included students from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto State University, Shehu Shagari College of Education, State College of Legal Studies, Umar Ali Polytechnic, Sultan Abdulrahman School of Health Teachnology, Kogi State Students Association and representatives of students from Yabo Local Government.

The Senator, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education, urged the students to be dedicated to their studies, and avoid all social vices.

“This is the only way you can realize your lofty dreams of becoming the true future leaders of Nigeria.’’

Earlier, the spokesman of the students Sani Aliyu Abubakar, lauded  Senator Wamakko for his unrelenting  sponsorship of the education of thousands of indigenes of the state to various tertiary institutions,  within and outside Nigeria .

He expressed the coalition’s support to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Senator in their election bids.

The coalition also threw its weight behind the candidature of Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, who is seeking election as governor of the state.
