APC guber primaries: Police beef up security at Kano APC secretariat

Police authorities have beefed up security around the All Progressive Congress (APC) state secretariat in Kano state as results of the governorship primaries.

Delegates have started coming in from wards that made up the 44 local government areas in the state.

Our correspondent who visited the secretariat around 4pm, counted 10 number of police patrol vans stationed around the secretariat.

Further observation revealed that armed police men were stationed within and outside the premises of the APC secretariat to ensure law and order.

The ruling party is conducting its governorship primary election and the incumbent Governor of the state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is aspiring to retain his seat.
