Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has claimed that there is no Nigerian alive who can match his former boss in terms of credibility.
He stated this while reacting to the purchase of expression of interest and nomination forms for Jonathan to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group picked the forms on behalf of Jonathan at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
The former president later rejected the forms, which he said were procured without his consent.
Reacting, Omokri via his Twitter handle said that his former boss had nothing to do with the forms and would not “secretly” contest in the 2023 elections.
“I could have denied this hours ago, but I deliberately declined in order to watch his enemies and mine dance deliriously at the thought that they’d demystified @GEJonathan. There is no Nigerian alive that has the national and international credibility that HE GEJ has,” he tweeted.
