Reacting to the outcome of the election which saw the return of the incumbent governor Rauf Aregbesola as winner, Izunaso told our reporter on phone that the victory has indicated the people’s power against oppression by the PDP to perpetually enslave Nigerians while looting their commonwealth.
He maintained that the party had with the victory shown that it will no longer tolerate PDP’s rigging which has for long betrayed Nigerians by failing to allow them to make their choices in elections.
Izunaso noted that the victory has also put a stop to the purported plan to capture the South West in 2015, adding that PDP would suffer a humiliating defeat in the 2015 general elections not only in the South West but in all other parts of the country.
“The march to APC’S victory in 2015 has just begun. We are steadily going towards the liberation of the oppressed people of Nigeria from the tyrannical grip of a cabal bent on destroying the country by entrenching undemocratic values in our democracy, “he said.
He added that although PDP has been using all sorts of diabolical measures including harassment and intimidation by security agents in its drive to frighten and stifle the opposition, APC has remained focused to bring the desired change in the country.
