The National Convention and presidential primary of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) is yet to commence three hours after.
The event, according to its programme of activities, is slated to commence at 1.30pm at the Eagle Square, Abuja with arrival of APC governors and lawmakers.

Aside the national delegates from some states, the party’s bigwigs and other critical stakeholders, are yet to arrive at the venue as of 4.30pm.
Delegates from Kaduna, Imo, Jigawa Gombe, Borno, Enugu, Edo, Benue, Bauchi are also yet to arrive as of the time of filing this report at 4.30pm.
APC governors, National Assembly presiding officers and members , the aspirants, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and President Muhammadu Buhari are scheduled to arrive between 1.30pm and 3.15pm.
Except from Governor Atiku Bagudu, the chair of the progressive governors’ forum, and few National Assembly members, other are yet to arrive.
The National Anthem to signify the official commencement of the event, is slated for 3.30pm. But it is yet to kick off at 4.30pm, when Governor Bagudu is scheduled to give remarks.
