Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Plateau State had a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Thursday night to perfect plans of wooing Governor Caleb Mutfwang of the state to decamp from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The meeting was held with the North Central APC Forum which recently called on the governor to dump the PDP for the APC so that his good works, intentions and value can be achievable and tenable.
Speaking during their recent advice to the governor to defect to the APC, the forum’s chairman, Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, told journalists that Mutfwang’s decamping to the APC was vital for the development of Plateau State.
According to Zazzaga, this is because the governor will be on the same page with President Bola Tinubu, the other North Central governors who are of the APC and other federal legislators from the state to pursue developmental cause.

Also, Zazzaga noted that some of the APC chieftains at the meeting include the Plateau APC governorship aspirant in the last election, who is also the chairman/convener of the Forum of APC Governorship aspirants, Chief Amos Gizo; the former chairman of Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS), Dashe Arlat; and others whom he said he wouldn’t like to mention yet.
