APC chieftain salutes Ize-Iyamu at 60

A chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC), Alhaji Muhammad Saleh Hassan, has felicitated with former governorship candidate of the party during the 2020 governorship election in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, as he marks his 60th birthday today.

Hassan in a statement in Abuja yesterday described Ize-Iyamu as a phenomenal figure, not only in the Christendom but also in politics, adding that “the erudite politician” had hit the milestone in both endeavours.

While reminiscing on his manifesto during his race for the governorship position, Hassan who is also the president of One Nigeria Group (ONG), recalled that he (Ize-Iyamu) came up with a remarkable progressive agenda with an acronym SIMPLE which he would have used as an instrument to solve all the state’s problems and also transform it into an enviable socio political and economic spectacle.

Hassan noted that if Ize-Iyamu decided to aspire for the plum job in any political dispensation again and given the deserved chance, Edo State would have reason to enjoy a better dispensation of a people-oriented governance which he (Ize-Iyamu) personifies.

“Your conviction on national unity and contribution to national development are what I call great achievements even amid difficulties,” he added.
