A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jerry Ugokwe, has said that any Nigerian that wishes the country to be great will vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Ugokwe stated this on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, adding that Nigeria needs Tinubu to replicate what he did in Lagos when he was governor.

He said, “Yesterday (Tuesday), I was cracking a joke with a friend of mine. I said If Tinubu was governor of Lagos before Abuja was chosen as federal capital, it would have remained the capital because there wouldn’t be a need to move to Abuja. We would have used that money to develop the entire country.
“What I am saying is that, the Tinubu who APC is presenting to Nigerians and wants to make the CEO of the company called Nigeria, is the best man to elect.
“Let us look at what he has done when he had an opportunity. You know how Lagos was pre-Tinubu (administration). This guy moved Lagos to a great economy in Africa. Can you imagine if that is done for Nigeria and become a great economy in the world.
“That is why I believe that anybody who wants greatness for Nigeria, should vote for Tinubu.”
