Anxiety over missing varsity student in Osun

A 400-level student of Fountain University, Osogbo, Hadiza Salam, has been declared missing. 

The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Taoheed Alimi, confirmed that the student was missing since last week. 

He said Hadiza boarded a vehicle from Abuja to Osogbo last week and that her whereabouts were not known up till now.

Alimi said: “She left Abuja for Osogbo on July 22 to resume school just to go missing. The personal driver that drove her from Abuja to Osogbo claimed he dropped her at Igbona market at Osogbo and also claimed that he dropped her at Wema bank Osogbo.”

The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, said police detectives are on the matter. 

The university’s spokesman appealed to anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of the missing student to report to the nearest police station or contact 08142187452.
