The Federal Government has again vowed that the ongoing war against corruption will not spare anyone.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made the vow at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday while speaking in an audience with a group of radio journalists and producers.
The vice president emphasised that close friends of President Muhammadu Buhari would not even be spared in the anti-corruption fight.
He described corruption as “the major drain on the country’s resources”, noting that fighting graft was a priority of the present administration.
“No one will be spared in the fight against corruption because, even the close friends of the president know that they will not be spared. He (President Buhari) will not cover for them. Fighting corruption is a priority,” Osinbajo declared.
