This year’s meeting, scheduled to take place in Akwa Ibom State September 5-9 has as theme ‘Livestock Resilience in the post-COVID Era’.
Ayamere said the induction would be conducted during the conference, adding that it was jointly organised to address issues and challenges that continue to plague the animal husbandry industry in the country.
These challenges, he said, had been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, “which has seriously impacted animal husbandry in a very negative manner.”
