The Anglican Diocese of Awka, Anambra State, has ended its first session of the eleventh Synod, with a call on the Buhari-led administration to reflect the federal character in its appointments and allocation of resources.

The call, which was contained in a 19-point communiqué, signed by the synod secretary, Ven Clement Chibuzor Mgbemena, said the lopsided appointments portrayed Nigeria and her leadership in a bad light to foreigners with its attendant consequences, particularly on investment.

The church further expressed concern over the increasing health condition of President Muhammadu Buhari, calling on its members to continue to pray for his quick recovery.
