Anambra’s resources not for gov’s pockets – Obiano

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has reiterated that the state’s resources are neither for private nor for the governor’s pocket. He explained that the state has grown past the era when godfathers dictate to governors and the state’s resources were siphoned.

Speaking during the 2017 Mother’s Summit in Awka, Obiano said he had not and would never divert the state’s resources to anyone claiming to be his political godfather.

He called on the citizenry to resist any attempt to impose a stooge on them in the forthcoming governorship election.
