Anambra Youths have staged a walk against rigging of the forthcoming governorship election, urging independent National Electoral Commission INEC and security agents to be impartial.
The youths under the umbrella of Youth Advocate for Peace, Justice and Empowerment Network (YAPJEN) said they would not accept any act of election rigging, violence, political thuggery, and other forms of irregularities during the November 6 governorship election in the state.
Addressing reporters in Awka, National President of the group, Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu, also urged youths in the state to resist all forms of electoral violence and inducement to create problems.
