Vigilante operatives in Anambra State have arrested one Chidiebere Agbalusi for allegedly vandalizing facilities of the Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) Plc.
Chidiebere Agbalusi, a native of Awo village in Oraifite, was arrested while in possession of vandalized aluminium cable and a cutter in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The Head of Corporate Communications of EEDC, Emeka Ezeh, has commended the efforts of the various vigilante groups in heeding the call to safeguard installations.
He said the operations of vigilantes against vandals have reduced their activities drastically in the state.
