The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its campaign council for the November 6, 2021 governorship election in Anambra State.
The campaign team is headed by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma and had other political bigwigs in the party like Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello; and Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege among others.
Inaugurating the committee at the APC National Secretariat on Tuesday in Abuja, Yobe State Governor and Chairman of the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, charged the campaign team to deliver Anambra to the APC.
Anambra is currently under the control of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), with Governor Willie Obiano as governor.
