The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a screening appeal panel ahead of the November governorship election in Anambra State.
The party in a statement Wednesday by its National Organising Secretary, Col Austin Akobundu (rtd), titled, “2021 Anambra State gubernatorial primary” explained that the panel would be in charge of appeals that would arise from the screening of aspirants.

According to the statement, Achike Udenwa will serve as the chairman, while Uzo Azubuike will serve as the secretary of the panel.
Other members of the screening panel are; Taofik Arapaja, Dan Orbih, Theophilus Shan, Emmanuel Bovoa, Ali Odefa, Aminu Abdullahi, Ime Ekpoatai, Zakari Ningi, Danjuma Laah, Omolola Ajueyisi and Johnbull Shekau.
The panel will begin sitting on May 19, 2021, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
