The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Anambra State, Dr. Nkwachukwu Orji, has said that the forthcoming election may be one of the most expensive elections ever conducted by INEC, saying they are committed towards improving voters’ experience by ensuring, among others, that their votes count.
He stated this during the civil society dialogue with INEC and the police on the forthcoming election which was organised by the Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) at the weekend in Abuja. “If people don’t enjoy voting in 2017, when you call them out in 2019, they may not come out,” he said.
