Schools in Anambra State may likely run morning and afternoon classes to curtail overcrowding and control the rapid spread of COVID-19 as a post-lockdown strategy.
The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C.Don Adinuba, stated this on Tuesday.
He said the government is also planning to fumigate all schools in the state before lessons start.
“We are also looking at running additional lessons in schools with large class sizes.
“They have to run morning and afternoon classes to decongest overcrowded classrooms in obedience to government’s directive on social distancing,” he said.
