In recognition of her creativity and contributions to the development of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Thinkers Magazine has nominated the chair of the FCT chapter of ANA, Halima Usman for award as its 2020 Icon Of Literature.

This is contained in a letter signed by the Managing Director of the Magazine, Hajiya Falmata Zanna Abba.

Usman who is currently serving her second term in office as ANA Abuja chairman recently launched seven books namely, Mallam Sidi, Fauziya Saves The Day, Mr Cockroach, The Big Aquarium, Emeka The Farmer, Kola & Lola and Against The Odds.

The award will be conferred on her Monday, September 20 at an event to honour individuals and companies who have impacted the society.
