Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s presidential campaign posters have surfaced in Abeokuta, ahead of 2023 general elections.
Amosun, who represents Ogun Central at the Senate, is one of the the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders believed to be eyeing the presidential seat.

Our correspondent observed his poster conspicuously placed at the popular NNPC bridge along presidential boulevard way, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
On the poster, there are three images of Amosun wearing Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa attires.
It also has the picture of one “Oba Agoro” who appears to be the brain behind the campaign.
“Your voice, your choice SIA (meaning Senator Ibikunle Amosun) for President,” an inscription on the poster, reads.
Our correspondent has also sighted some vehicles in the metropolis have been branded with similar campaign.
An aide to Amosun told Daily Trust on Wednesday that the former Governor was not the brain behind the posters.
“Such poster wouldn’t have come from him. I can’t say exactly where it came from. I don’t think he knows anything about it. You have heard about different politicians’ posters surfacing in Abuja.
“So, I’m not sure he knows anything about it,” the aide who pleaded anonymity, said.
A factional State Chairman of APC loyal to Amosun, Derin Adebiyi, said, “No. He is not the one behind it. What you are saying is a news to me. I have never heard about it.”
