President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Chief Sylvester Ameh as chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ohodo, Enugu State.
A statement by the spokesman of the Ministry of Education, Bem Goong, named Johnson Bosco Bassey, Ibrahim A Umar, Muslim Maigari and Ayodele D. Amoo as members of the council.

The principal officers appointed were Prof. Edwin Onyeneje, rector; Grace Eze, registrar; Regina Eze, bursar and Ejike Udensi Igweuike, librarian.
The polytechnic was among the institutions recently established by the Federal Government to further enhance access to higher education and as well improve standards.
