He spoke with newsmen after meeting with Governor Babatunde Fashola at the last State Security Council meeting of the outgoing government where both leaders shared security information and strategies.
Ambode said after the meeting: “I am ready to hit the ground running. I am ready to go and to also keep Lagos safer.”
He said the meeting provided him an opportunity to familiarise himself with the security agents he would be working with.
Fashola told journalists that the meeting was about sharing security information and strategies with the incoming governor.
He said the security of the state is very important to the incoming administration and the transition process had been very smooth, adding that all the security agencies were well represented at the meeting.
