An aluminium fabricator who is said to specialise in stealing window and door frames from uncompleted buildings has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The alleged serial thief, whose name could not be ascertained, was nabbed on Tuesday by residents of Madi, Okefoma community, Ilorin.

According to a resident of the area, Mr Suleiman, the suspect, who claimed to have been trained in Lagos but lives around Akerebiata area, was arrested following rampant theft of aluminium fittings and frames in the area.
“He was caught after trying to escape with some of the items removed from some buildings.
“The section of the community where he stole the aluminium is a new site with many uncompleted buildings. And lately, there have been many complaints regarding the theft of these items,” he said.
He added that the suspect was handed over to officers of the ‘G’ Division police station, Oloje.
When City & Crime visited the police station, the DPO confirmed that the suspect was in their custody but refused to give his name.
He said, “Wait till we finish our work, after which he will be charged in court. You can get his name there.”
