An Igbosere chief Magistrate Court has fixed July 1, 2019, for the trial of a 25 year-old man, Felix Aizebeoji, who allegedly assaulted his neighbors.

The suspect and others still at large, allegedly committed the offence May 20, 2019, at about 12 noon at Badore, in Ajah, Lagos when they assaulted Mr. Peter Comas, and Augustine Oghra, by using wire to flog both of them which caused bodily harm on them.

One of the victim, Peter Comas, who reported the case at the Police station, said that the suspect invited him to his house and on getting there; he was accused of having a relationship with the suspect’s wife.

He told the police that before he knew what was happening, the suspects started flogging him with wire and in the process he lost his phones. He said that though, the suspect’s wife was his customer who sells food items to him; he had no affairs with her.

Police alleged that the suspect and others still on the run, conspired together to commit the offence contrary to Section 411 of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015.

Magistrate M. F. Onamusi while adjourning the trial till July 1, 2019, ordered that the suspect should be released on N50, 000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
