Pinnacle Communications, one of the first licensed signal broadcast stations in Nigeria, has said all is set for it to commence digital transmission in Kaduna State.
The Chief Engineer of the broadcast station, Mr Charles Cooper, who took newsmen round the facility, said the new station would start transmission with 24 national channels.
He said the major focus would be Kaduna metropolis before covering other parts of the state.
‘As from Friday we will begin transmission with our new state of the art digital station. We thank the Federal Government for believing in us,” he stated.
Cooper said unlike the analogue system, the digital system was easy to operate and less expensive, and viewers would see clear visual and good sound qualities.
